Tribu offers three products. They are all created with the same app (and the online editor): what changes is the rhythm and the form.

Downloading the Tribu app and creating an account is free. You only pay to physically receive your journal, album or book.

Monthly printed journal


A journal printed every month, created with your loved ones and delivered straight to the recipient.


  1. Sign-up: download the Tribu app and create your account with your email and password (or with Google or Apple). Give your Tribu a name: it appears as the title on the cover. How can I change the name of my Tribu journal ?
  2. Invitations: invite as many members as you like, for free. Everyone has their own account and the same rights: adding photos, writing texts, editing pages. Everything is synced between members, on the app as well as on the web.
  3. Subscription: choose a format (Mini, Classic or Premium) and a duration, from 1 month to 1 year. The longer the duration, the better the rate. You can always try with a one-month subscription: testing the app and the web platform is free. How much does Tribu cost (Family journal / Year Album / Recap Album) ?
  4. Recipients: the recipient is the person who receives the journal. Adding an extra recipient is paid (same price as a subscription, minus 10%). How to add an extra recipient
  5. Creating your journal: import your photos, choose your layouts (1 to 20 photos per page, with or without text) and tell your stories. You have until the last day of the month at 11:59 pm to finish.
  6. End of the month: on the 1st of the month at 00:00, you no longer have access to the journal of the past month. During the night, it is turned into a PDF and you receive it by email. It is then printed, mailed and delivered to the recipient, usually between the 9th and the 15th of the month. A tracking link is available in the app and sent by email.

Year Album


A collector album gathering your 12 monthly editions. You create it a little each month and receive it at the end of the year.


  1. Sign-up: download the Tribu app, create your account and give your Tribu a name.
  2. Invitations: invite as many members as you like, for free. Everyone has their own account and the same rights.
  3. Subscription: the Year Album subscription covers a calendar year, from January to December. The Year Album on our website
  4. Creating your pages: each month, you fill in 10 pages as a base (up to 22 pages). You have until the last day of the month at 11:59 pm.
  5. End of the month: on the 1st of the month at 00:00, you no longer have access to the pages of the past month. During the night, they are turned into a PDF (to be printed later) and you receive them by email. They also arrive in your User Dashboard > "my journals" (Archives).
  6. End of the year: the complete album is printed (on the 10th of the month) and delivered by the 20th at the latest. A tracking link is available in the app and sent by email.

Baby Book


A keepsake A4 book telling the story of your baby's first year, at your own pace, with no deadline and no automatic printing.


  1. Sign-up: download the Tribu app and create a new Tribu for your child. Enter their first name, date of birth (or due date) and the language of the book.
  2. Invitations: invite the other parent and your loved ones (dad, mom, godfather, godmother…), for free. Everyone can add their photos and memories.
  3. Creating your book: add your photos, texts and memories at your own pace. The book is organized month by month to guide you, but you stay free. You can add, delete and reorder your pages, up to 100 pages in total. We recommend starting it during pregnancy.
  4. Trial and payment: you can fill in up to 10 pages for free. To go further, you pay for your book with a single payment of €79.95: it covers the printing and delivery of your printed book, and gives access to all pages.
  5. Closing: when your book is finished, click "Close my book". It is then sent to print: Baby Books are printed on the 10th of each month and delivered by the 20th at the latest. A tracking link is available in the app and sent by email.
