My journal is bent, what can I do ?
It can happen that the post folds journals during delivery. We are trying to solve this problem in every way possible. Unfortunately there is no miracle cure (or at least we haven't found it yet 😉).
This problem is mainly related to the mail carrier, who, out of simplicity or habit, folds large envelopes.
We discussed it with several carriers, and they all agree: the best way to avoid this is to write clearly and visibly on the envelope that it must not be folded.
We did that and have seen a strong decrease in this problem since then. 📉
Sometimes the problem also comes from the mailbox, when it is not wide enough for the envelope to fit in whole.
Another solution would be to send the journals in a cardboard or bubble envelope.
We did not choose this option because it would noticeably increase costs: the envelope and the shipping fees.
We estimate this increase at €3-4, which would force us to noticeably increase the price of your journals. 💸
It is also not a 100% effective solution.
Premium journals are sent in a bubble envelope and are semi-rigid. Some are still folded by the mail carrier. 😕
What you can do:
Since the problem is mainly related to the mail carrier, the most effective solution is to confront the mail carrier:
👋 see them in the street, explain the problem to them kindly and your disappointment at seeing your beautiful journals damaged.
From experience, this really works well!
