How to create a one shot Tribu journal ?

You create a Tribu every month, but occasionally you might want to make an extra journal for a trip, birthday, or any special event. That's possible!

How to do it?

Before creating your journal, it’s useful to ask yourself:

• Will the people contributing to this special journal be the same as those in your current Tribu?
• Do you want this journal to appear in your Recap Album?

If the answer is yes to both, you can add a special journal to your current Tribu.

If the answer is no to one or both, it’s better to create a new Tribu.

Adding a special journal to your current Tribu

Tribu isn’t specifically designed for extra journals, but our priority is to make you happy. If you want to add a special journal to your Tribu, here’s how:

• Upload your photos and fill in your journal.
• Once it’s finished, ask via chat or email (info@mytribunews.com) to print this special journal.

What happens then?

• The journal you just made will be placed in your archives, and you can start a new journal (for the end of the month).
• One month will be deducted from your subscription.
• The journal will be printed on our next print date (either the 1st of the following month or mid-month).

If you want to give this journal a different name, it’s possible.

The title on the journal is the name of the Tribu at the moment it is archived (turned into a PDF).

So simply change the Tribu name before asking us to print the special journal, then change it back before the end of the month.

Creating a new Tribu for a unique journal

The idea is to create a new Tribu and take a one-month subscription.

1/ Create a new Tribu

Go to "User Space" > "My Tribus" > "Create a new Tribu"

⚠️ If you want others to help create this journal, remember to invite them to join the Tribu

2/ Take a subscription

Choose a one-month subscription for the format you want.

Don’t forget to disable automatic renewal after subscribing

=> If you want to send it to multiple people / print multiple copies, you can add recipients

3/ Upload photos and fill your journal

4/ Your journal will be printed on the 1st of the following month

If you do this at the beginning of the month, you can ask us to print the journal earlier.

We usually schedule a mid-month print for such cases.
