# Is Tribu available on Android and iOS?

**Yes, Tribu is available on iPhone and iPad (App Store) and on Android (Google Play).**

With the app, you create your journal and add your photos and texts wherever you are.

On a computer, you can use the online editor.

### Do I need the app to use Tribu?

No. You can also create your journal from the online editor (editor.mytribunews.com), on a computer. On a smartphone, use the app: the online editor is designed for large screens ([learn more](https://faq.mytribunews.com/en/article/i-have-been-asked-to-download-the-app-while-i-am-on-a-computer-1qbbxxy/)).

### Can I switch between the app and the web?

Yes. Everything is synced between the app and the online editor, as well as with all the members of your Tribu. What you add appears everywhere.

### Is the app paid?

No. Downloading the app and creating an account is free. You only pay to physically receive your journal, album or book. You can even [try it for free](https://faq.mytribunews.com/en/article/can-i-try-the-app-without-subscribing-for-free-183s6yn/): layout, photo import, inviting a loved one.
