# I cannot connect via Facebook anymore

### ❌ It’s no longer possible to log in to Tribu using Facebook

If you previously logged in with Facebook, you’ll need to reset your password ([click here)](https://editor.mytribunews.com/forget-password). You’ll receive an email to create a new password, and you’ll then be able to log in using your email and password.

⚠️ Make sure to use the email address linked to your Facebook account, otherwise the login won’t work.

###### Why did we decide to remove Facebook Connect? To make your life easier!
* Facebook’s technical requirements have become increasingly difficult to maintain, causing login bugs for users.  
* If the email linked to your Facebook account is no longer your current one, it can cause communication issues (you might stop receiving Tribu emails, and our Support team might have trouble identifying you, etc.).  
* Less than 5% of our customers were using Facebook Connect.
