# How to create a one shot Tribu journal ?

|| This article only applies if you have a journal printed every month (Mini, Classic or Premium).

**Do you want to make a one-off or exceptional journal (wedding, trip, birthday, family event)? It's possible, either in addition to your monthly journal, or in a new Tribu with a one-month subscription.**

You make a Tribu every month, but exceptionally you would like to make an extra one, for a trip, a birthday, or any exceptional event. It's possible!

### How to do it?

Before creating your journal, it may be worth asking yourself these questions:
* Will the people contributing to this **exceptional journal** be the same as those in your current Tribu?
* Do you want this journal to be included in your [All you need to know about our Recap Albums](https://faq.mytribunews.com/en/article/all-you-need-to-know-about-our-recap-albums-1meui45/)?

If the answer is **yes** to both questions, you can **make an exceptional journal in your current Tribu**.
If the answer is **no** to (at least) one of these two questions, it is best to **create a new Tribu**.

### Making an exceptional journal in your current Tribu

Tribu isn't specifically designed for creating exceptional journals, but our priority is always to make you happy. If you want to add an exceptional journal to your Tribu, there is always a solution:

If you want to make an extra journal in your Tribu:
* Upload your photos and fill in your journal
* As soon as it is finished, ask via the chat or by email (info@mytribunews.com) to have this exceptional journal printed.

What will happen then?
* We will put the journal you just made in your archives, and you will be able to start a **new journal** (to be completed by the end of the month)
* We will deduct 1 month from your subscription
* The journal will be printed at our next print date (the 1st of the following month or mid-month)

**If you want to give this journal another name, it's possible. **
The title displayed on the journal is the name of the Tribu at the moment the journal is put in your archives (turned into a PDF).
You simply need to change the name of the Tribu **before** asking us to print the exceptional journal, then change it back **before the end of the month**.

### Creating a new Tribu for a single journal

The idea is to create a new Tribu and take a one-month subscription.

**1/ Create a new Tribu**
Go to "**User dashboard**" > "**My tribes**" > "**Create a new Tribu**"

**2/ Take out a subscription**
Take the one-month subscription of the format you want.
Don't forget to turn off automatic renewal after taking the subscription ;-)

**Add your recipient's address**
You will be redirected there automatically. Or go to "**User dashboard**" > "**Members and recipients**" > "**Edit the address**".

**3/ Upload your photos and fill in your journal**
You know how that works :-)

**4/ Your journal will be printed on the 1st of the following month**
If you do this at the beginning of the month, you can ask us to print the journal early.
We always plan a mid-month print, between the 15th and the 17th, for this kind of case (the price stays the same).

### And we start again…

If you want to make another one-off journal later, you can keep the same Tribu (and change its name, for example) or create a new Tribu.
