# How many characters can the texts contain?

There are two ways to add text to your pages:
* by inserting a **caption** on the photo
* by choosing a layout containing one or more **text blocks**

###### Caption

A caption can contain up to **100 characters.**

|| 💡 Depending on the size of the photo, we recommend adjusting the length of your caption to avoid covering your image.

###### Text blocks

The number of characters you can write in a text block depends on the size of the block as well as the size and font you choose. Our system is designed to limit you as little as possible: you can adjust the text size to fit more or less text (for example, a Small text naturally takes up less space than a Large text, allowing you to write more). **Once your text is written and validated, as long as it is fully visible in the block (not cut off, not hidden), it will be readable in print.**

|| 💡 If you do not fill the block, the area will simply remain blank (the T will disappear in print).
